Vintage wooden moulds used to make handmoulded bricks. The clay was put in the mould, where it was pressed and shaken, and the brick was taken out to lie in the sun and dry – then the mould was ready to make the next brick.
All brick moulds are unique as to wood type, age and appearance. They also feature a lovely metal edge on the top.
The vintage moulds make great little trays but also beautiful shelves if you hang them on the wall.
